Constant Torque Springs
A constant torque spring is a pre-stressed strip of stainless or carbon steel wound into a coil to deliver a steady rotary force during winding and unwinding. When one end is mounted on a storage drum and the other on an output drum, it produces nearly uniform torque through the full range of motion.
This design ensures consistent and repeatable performance, making it ideal for applications such as cable reels, counterbalancing mechanisms, rotary dampers, and controlled return systems.
Teng Yao’s constant torque springs can be customized for torque value, dimensions, and material selection to suit specific installation needs. Their compact form and smooth, stable operation make them a reliable choice for automation equipment, precision instruments, and motion-control devices.
